Snow on the Tararua Ranges (and Wellington Harbour of course)
Thought I’d miss seeing the fabulous Southern Alps from my inner-city Christchurch apartment: but no, I can still see snow from my new inner city Wellington apartment balcony.

Love that scene. It was a stunning day today. The Kailoura ranges have a dusting too – beautiful from the south coast of Welly.
Went and looked at the South Coast yesteday ( Saturday) what a great place less than 10ks from the city
