Dear Heather! Kia Ora! How lovely to be in touch with you! I was in Auckland many years ago on a youth programme. Fantastic collection of photos you have here! Take care and have a great day! Sharon
Hello Heather. You know this is a small world!!! I was in one of your classes at Wellington High School, and now we live in Kerikeri. I stumbled across a picture you took at Wharepuke on Pinterest. My son,Thomas, is a waiter there. He thinks he may have even served you. I’m sure you enjoyed the accommodation at Wharepuke. We stayed there and Tania was quite helpful. We have now built our Balinese inspired home, trying to incorporate as many environmentally friendly features as possible. Maybe we will meet again sometime if you come back to Kerikeri. Kind regards
Good to hear from you Catherine – do you use any of the skills you learnt in the class? And, yes Wharepuke is great – food, grounds, and accommodation!
I have a few more stories to write about Northland so watch out for them too — also have a big trip to Borneo mid-2012 which I’m sure will produce some great photos and tales
